Luke Evans and His New Body

After dedicating eight months to working out more rigorously, Luke Evans unveiled a fitter physique on Friday, March 19. Greetings to a muscular body! Luke Evans is a Welsh actor and singer. He is well known for the movies Fast and Furious 6, Dracula Untold, and the movies of The Hobbit trilogy.

On Instagram, he captioned a side-by-side picture of his growth. “8 months of work but I got there. June 2020 – February 2021. I won’t bother putting statistics as the judges will only judge. #fbf #nearly42.”

In both the before and after photos, the Dracula Untold star, 41, posed shirtless, exposing chiseled abs and a more toned upper body compared to his June 2020 start date. Evans was also praised by Simon Waterson, a London-based health and fitness expert, for putting in the effort. “Great stats Luke, defying age … again a little bit of hard work & dedication, you must feel as well as look great. It looks sustainable also … healthy mate Simon.” He commented.

The Fast & Furious 6 actor shared a photo of his home workout room in the United Kingdom earlier this month, which included a medicine ball and resistance bands. He captioned the Instagram photo, exposing his toned abs once more. “Home gym training is so great….,” he wrote.

Evans has been keeping track of his success and workout routine for the past few months. In December 2020, he illustrated a workout in which he did lunges while wearing weighted chains around his neck. He had taken a selfie after a workout five months before. Mountain biking, hiking, horseback riding, and swimming were among the activities mentioned by the Dracula actor.

Because Evans taking on roles that have a muscular physique, this resulted in him adopting an intense fitness plan. “When I’m training hard the diet is miserable,” he admitted. He also shared that he enjoys food although, with alcohol, it’s a difficult situation for him. Alcohol is what he misses the most. When someone else can have a drink but he can’t, he won’t go out as much. Alcohol is a nightmare for empty calories, and he won’t be able to practice the next day. The difficult part is not socializing and enjoying a night out.

However, when the opportunity is there, he eases up on the intensity. He told that “It’s good for your body to have a break. Even when you’re training you have to have a cheat day every week. The body reacts better to training if you give it intervals of not training or you relax the diet.” Evans added, “I don’t need to be super-ripped all year round. That’s a pretty miserable way to live your life.”
