The Secret to Khloe Kardashian’s Shape
Among many of the American TV personalities that have shown their incredible body transformations, perhaps Khloe Kardashian is the most notable of them all. Being constantly in the spotlight, it is a well-known fact that her biggest transformation was after she lost her pregnancy weight. She lost 60 pounds! How did she do it?
After giving birth to her daughter with basketball player Tristan Thompson, she showed that she maintained her fitness all the way through the pandemic lockdown. Being labelled the “fat sister” in the media and her family, she has constantly struggled with judgement and ridicule but she brushed it off, pushed through, and did great things for her body.
Before her divorce from her ex-husband Lamar Odom, Khloe was not that much of a gym enthusiast but the divorce let her be alone to spend time in the gym. “For me, I was overweight—I was unhealthy—for a lot of my life. I started going to the gym during my divorce, like a significant and consistent amount for my mental health,” Khloe said.
The Khloe Kardashian weight loss diet is designed by Dr. Philip Goglia. This diet plan is low on carbohydrates and high on proteins. One of the secrets there was that she doesn’t eat carbs at night. However, when she had to start breastfeeding, her doctor recommended the addition of yams and rice to her diet. Besides watching her meals, Khloe made sure that she drank enough water throughout the day.
Just because she eats her favourite foods, it doesn’t mean that she lets go of her goals and binges. She maintains moderation. According to her, a good and sustainable diet is the key to a healthy lifestyle.
When it comes to workouts, Khloe spends some time in the gym. Her workout routine includes strength training, running on the treadmill, and jumping rope for 30 minutes. Her routine is supervised by her personal trainer, Gunnar Peterson.
“Be patient with yourself. It takes time to see results,” Khloe advised those who are working on their own fitness as well. She recommends that you take it slow as you begin your weight loss journey by putting yourself up for small milestones rather than big ones. You may eat the stuff you love as long as you keep it moderated.
